At i Buy Local (UK Microsoldering LTD), we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Returns Policy sets out your rights and obligations when returning items purchased in-store or online.


1️⃣ 16-Day Money Back Guarantee

  • You have 16 calendar days from the date of purchase to return an unwanted item for a full refund to your original payment method.

  • Items must be returned:

    • In the same condition as sold

    • Complete with all original accessories, packaging, and documentation

    • With valid proof of purchase

  • All returns are subject to inspection and testing prior to any refund. Please allow 1-2 hours for inspection or testing.


2️⃣ Returns After 16 Days

  • After 16 days, unwanted items may still be returned if in original condition.

  • Refunds after 16 days are issued as store credit only.

  • Store credit is non-refundable and non-transferable.


3️⃣ Warranty Returns (Faulty Items)

  • All products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.

  • Faulty items can be returned for:

    • Repair

    • Replacement

    • Refund (at original purchase price or current resale value, whichever is lower)

  • Faults must not be caused by accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised modifications.


4️⃣ Exclusions

Returns may be refused or partially refunded where:

  • The item shows:

    • Physical damage (cracked screen, dents, broken casing, liquid damage)

    • Signs of misuse or excessive wear

    • Damage caused after purchase

    • Missing serial numbers or altered identifiers

  • Accessories, packaging, or included items are missing.

  • The device has not been wiped of personal data (phones, tablets, computers, etc.).


5️⃣ Battery Policy

  • Batteries are consumables.

  • Warranty covers complete battery failure only (device will not power on).

  • Normal wear or reduced battery life (shorter charge duration, lower capacity) is not covered.


6️⃣ Non-Returnable Items

  • Items sold as faulty or "spares/repairs"

  • Items with software activation codes that have been redeemed

  • Items involving single-use codes, licenses, or subscriptions


7️⃣ Proof of Purchase

  • A valid receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns.


8️⃣ Return Process

  • In-store: Bring your item and receipt to any i Buy Local store.

9️⃣ Our Rights

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these terms.
