Age & Media Considerations

Most magnetic media from the 1980s has an expected service life of roughly 10–20 years; this cassette is well beyond that age (30+ years). Tape degradation can occur over time. Attempting to load or play deteriorated media may leave oxide or other residue on your tape deck or computer hardware and could affect future operation.
